The genesis of Steadystrike was when Douglas Olsen (co-Founder), a Certified Professional Trainer and a dedicated heavy bag basher, felt a growing frustration with heavy bag stand alternatives available on the market. Given limitations of existing alternatives ranging from poor quality of construction to noise transmission AND the inability to move the bag/stand with ease (thereby requiring a dedicated space which might constrain living areas and so forth), he felt that there had to be a better way.
Together with Lana Olsen (co-Founder), and a host of individuals from the fitness and fabrication communities, over a year was spent designing, prototyping, performance testing and repeating this process to finally feeling comfortable to file a patent application in January 2024. The result of this endeavor is the world’s first commercially available freestanding heavy bag stand on wheels, built with extremely high production standards and aesthetic appeal.
